Angelique Saweczko appointed University Registrar and Vice-Provost of Integrated Enrolment Management at UÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Angelique Saweczko as University Registrar and Vice-Provost, Integrated Enrolment Management of the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ, effective Feb. 1, 2026.
Saweczko brings more than two decades of registrarial and enrolment management experience. She is returning to UÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ following her most recent role as university registrar at the University of Toronto, where she led strategic enrolment initiatives and cultivated a community of collaboration across Canada’s largest institution.
She previously served as university registrar at UÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ from 2015 to 2021, where she championed student-focused innovations such as Schedule Builder, mobile student portals, and enhanced service delivery. Throughout her career, she has built a strong record of success in modernizing systems, leveraging data to inform decisions and improving processes to better support students and academic units.
In addition to her roles at UÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ and University of Toronto, Saweczko has served as associate vice-president, Strategic Enrolment and university registrar at Thompson Rivers University and director of Enrolment Services at the University of Regina. Her work has often involved close collaboration with government partners on enrolment policy, data reporting, and student-mobility initiatives, ensuring institutional perspectives are well represented in provincial and national discussions. Saweczko also contributes actively to the profession through organizations including Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), the Groningen Declaration Network, and the American Association of Universities (AAU).
Saweczko is a results-oriented leader who is known for building relationships within and outside the university and creating a culture of support and service. She holds a Master of Education in post-secondary studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Bachelor of Arts from York University.
