By beating Carleton 7-6 on Feb. 21, the Dinos men 鈥斺疜enan Wipf, Ky Macaulay, Ethan Drysdale and Spencer Else 鈥斺痗aptured the national title. Same day? Gallant, playing with skip Brad Jacobs, toppled Great Britain 9-6 to grab the gold medal at the Cortina Olympic Stadium in Cortina D鈥橝mpezzo.

鈥淚t鈥檚 incredible. To stand on top of the podium with this team, it鈥檚 amazing,鈥 Gallant told on-site reporters. 鈥淚 think that was the hardest game I鈥檝e ever curled, (against) one of the hardest opponents 鈥 the No. 1 team in the world.鈥

Earlier in the Winter Games, Gallant competed in the mixed doubles with wife Jocelyn Peterman, BKin鈥16, who has been the director of the Dinos curling program since its 2022 launch. They finished fifth.
