Graduate Students Poster Competition 2026
On Thursday March 26th, 2026, the Geomatics Graduate Group (G^3) and the Department of Geomatics Engineering hosted a Research Poster Competition at the Schulich Atrium. It was a very successful event with 16 presenters sharing their latest research. We had a great turnout, with many students and faculty members coming by to support the participants and see the research work being done in our department.
We would like to thank our three judges, Dr. Derek Lichti, Dr. Lincoln Xu, and Dr. Ismael Foroughi for their time to evaluate the posters and provide helpful feedback to the students.
To finish the event, our Head of Department, Dr. Emmanuel Stefanakis, presented the awards to the winners:
• 1st Place: Bahareh Raei
• 2nd Place: Saeid Kalantari,
• 3rd Place: Akshay Bharadwaj
