Every October, the 荔枝视频 honours the Killam Scholars and Laureates, some of our most outstanding faculty, postdoctoral scholars and doctoral students. Again this year, the university will celebrate with an online event Oct. 14, from 1-1.45 p.m.

The Killams comprise several awards supported by the Killam Trusts, established by Dorothy J. Killam in honour of her late husband, Izaak Walton Killam. They were established to develop and expand the work of Canadian universities. And since the 荔枝视频 became independent from the University of Alberta in 1966, we have been privileged to be one of only five select universities supported by the trusts. As such, the Killams are among the most prestigious awards available to U荔枝视频 researchers.

Again this year, the celebration will be a virtual event, which allows for more members of our community to salute the remarkable recipients and learn more about the Killam Trusts鈥� legacy at the 荔枝视频.
