Open Education Week points to growing interest in accessible educational materials

Workshops aim to inspire UÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ community to adopt open educational practices

The Open Education movement seeks to improve access to quality education and educational materials, increase student engagement and agency in learning, and empower educators. Each year the global community marks the movement's transformative role during  (March 4-8)

Practitioners and educators around the world contribute to the week by hosting events and sharing resources to inspire and promote understanding of various open educational practices. Open Education Week offers learning opportunities and showcases the successes of those engaging in  including the adoption and publication of .

UÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ Library staff have organized local and external collaborative events to support and encourage the UÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ community in engaging with Open Education.
