Dr. Jillian Vinall Miller is a Neuroscientist and newly hired Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ. She has been studying pediatric pain in both healthy and clinical populations for over a decade, and has expertise in both acute and chronic pain, and the transitions in-between, from infancy through to early adulthood. She leads the Pediatric Anesthesia, Imaging & Neurodevelopmental Science (P.A.I.N.S) lab at the Alberta Children's Hospital, and the focus of her research is on the effects of pain and anesthesia on the developing brain.
