Professor awarded Special Initiative SSHRC grant
Professor Martin Olszynski has been awarded a SSHRC COVID-19 Special Initiative Partnership Engage Grant.
Smart Prosperity Institute鈥檚 Colleen Kaiser, Geoff McCarney and U荔枝视频 Law鈥檚 Martin Olszynski were recently awarded a $25,000 for their proposal on 鈥淎gile Regulation for Post-COVID-19 Clean Innovation, Recovery and Growth in Canada.鈥 The goals of this research are to identify, examine, assess, and learn from recent Canadian experience with "agile regulation" - regulation that is stringent but also flexible and predictable. In doing so, the project will inform regulatory approaches that will foster clean innovation and economic growth in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, while maintaining stringency of regulatory processes.
