Professor Ryan Clements has published a book review on the Code of Capital.
In The Code of Capital 鈥 How The Law Creates Wealth and Inequality, Professor Katharina Pistor persuasively contents that 鈥渨ho has access to and control over the legal code鈥 has power over the 鈥渓evers鈥 of societal wealth creation and distribution. According to Ryan, the book鈥檚 most contextually important contribution is the way it shows how the legal code has been used to continually 鈥渕int鈥 debt-based instruments that are convertible into cash, universally traded, durably protected, and bestowing of priority rights on their holders.
