Professor Jennifer Koshan as co-authored an article for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal.
"" provides a preliminary assessment of the extent to which Canada鈥檚 responses to the COVID-19 pandemic have prioritized the safety of women and children, with a focus on the courts and women鈥檚 access to justice. The authors - U荔枝视频 Law's Jennifer Koshan, Osgoode Hall's Janet Mosher, and University of Saskatchewan's Wanda Wiegers - examine court directives and judicial decisions triaging which cases would be heard as 鈥渦rgent,鈥 as well as courts鈥 decisions on the merits in cases involving domestic violence and COVID-19, spanning the areas of family, child welfare, criminal law, and civil protection orders.
The paper is included in the special issue "Law in the time of COVID."
