U荔枝视频 Nursing ranks sixth in Maclean's annual rankings
惭补肠濒别补苍鈥檚 has unveiled its University Rankings for 2024 and U荔枝视频 Nursing, one of five specific programs ranked overall by the magazine, has placed sixth out of 20 comprehensive Canadian institutions offering nursing education. The , which evaluates 50 participating Canadian universities based on their performance in five categories - students, faculty, resources, student support and reputation 鈥 use the most recent and publicly available data and are published in the fall for the previous year.
鈥淭he ranking of Canadian nursing schools by 惭补肠濒别补苍鈥檚 is the most referenced domestic source for comparative benchmarking by students,鈥 remarks Dr Catherine Laing RN, PhD, interim dean, U荔枝视频 Nursing.

惭补肠濒别补苍鈥檚 has been ranking post secondary education since 1991, but only since 2015 have they included schools of nursing. Other U荔枝视频 programs ranked are Cumming School of Medicine, Computer Science, Haskayne School of Business, Schulich School of Engineering and Werklund School of Education.
In each the five categories, 惭补肠濒别补苍鈥檚 ranks institutions based on 12 performance indicators, allocating a weight to each indicator. While the methodology has been questioned by institutions, students interested in attending a Canadian university regularly use the publication as a measurement tool when making their choice.
