University grading system

The ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ uses a 4.0 grading scale. Full details of the grading system can be found in the .

Grade availability

  • Fall semester: grades are typically available by mid-January.
  • Winter semester: grades are typically available by May.

They are available about 15 days after the term ends.


Accessing your grades

You can view your statement of grades, including courses and credits, directly in your Student Centre. This allows you to check grades without needing to request a transcript.

Log in

Go to the and sign in with your student credentials.

Navigate to the exams and grades page

Once logged in, select the Exams and Grades link from the portal menu.

View your grades

On the Exams and Grades page, you can:

  • see current courses
  • check in-progress courses, and
  • review past courses and any posted grades

If you need more information about a final grade, contact the academic department responsible for the course.

Grade reappraisals

Reappraising a final grade

If you have concerns about your course grades, start by discussing them with your instructor as soon as possible and before initiating a formal reappraisal procedure. For a , submit a Service Request through your :

  • Service request type: My Student Record
  • Subtype: Request Reappraisal of Final Grade

Include all relevant information and attachments to support your request.

Grade reappraisal deadlines

Ensure your request is submitted by the following dates:

  • Fall Term: Feb. 1
  • Winter Term: June 1
  • Spring/Summer Intersession: Oct. 1

Flexible grading option

The university has a grading option for undergraduate students called credit granted (CG).

Grade Pending (GP)

If a final grade isn’t ready at the end of a term, you may see a temporary Grade Pending (GP).
